Role Description
Blackstone is seeking an experienced professional for a multi‑faceted Principal role within the BREIT Shareholder Relations team. The Principal will support the execution of BREIT’s shareholder communications and engagement efforts, including the development of high‑quality materials and messaging translating investment strategy, portfolio performance, and market developments as well as strategic business development and ongoing sales strategy efforts. The individual will partner closely with senior‑level leadership and teams across Blackstone and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities
- Own and execute BREIT’s shareholder communications strategy, ensuring consistent, accurate, and credible messaging across wealth and institutional channels
- Translate investment strategy, portfolio performance, transactional activity, and market dynamics into clear, portfolio‑level narratives for institutional and retail audiences
- Work collaboratively with business leaders and various teams within Blackstone Real Estate to create and maintain presentation materials, investor reporting, and other investor communications (e.g., webinars, video content, other investor memoranda)
- Lead the development of marketing materials, slide decks, and related content for internal and external use, including product updates, shareholder commentary, and strategic communications
- Support strategic initiatives related to product evolution, market expansion, and new distribution channels
- Develop and maintain deep product knowledge across Blackstone Real Estate funds and investments and support investor diligence, including responses to inquiries and completion of due diligence questionnaires
- Analyze macroeconomic, sector, and capital markets trends affecting BREIT and broader real estate strategies, and partner with research to develop investment themes and positioning
- Conduct competitive, market, and regulatory research to support positioning, distribution strategy, and growth initiatives
- Lead the development of timely, event‑driven communications in response to significant market, policy, and economic developments
- Manage and prioritize a high volume of inbound requests related to BREIT, exercising sound judgment in high‑visibility situations
- Coordinate with Legal, Compliance, and Risk to ensure materials meet regulatory and firm standards
- Oversee and mentor team members, ensuring effective delegation and accountability for quality and timeliness of deliverables
- Demonstrate adaptability and collaboration while operating across a broad range of responsibilities
Qualifications
- 10+ years of professional experience
- Prior work experience in shareholder relations, investment banking, investment research, marketing, or related financial services roles
- Exceptional writing skills—producing clear, concise, data‑driven content
- Strong slide‑building and presentation storytelling skills (market decks, thematic materials, white papers)
- Connects top‑down macro trends with bottom‑up real estate fundamentals
- Comfort operating in a dynamic, high‑visibility, highly analytical environment
- Strong collaboration skills and comfortable working cross‑functionally with investment, research, and IR teams
- Works closely with senior‑level stakeholders and exercises sound judgment in high‑impact situations
- Strong execution and prioritization skills, with managing high volumes of work under tight timelines
- High attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, and comfortable moving between high‑level strategic thinking and detailed execution
- Real estate experience is a plus, but not required
Expected annual base salary range
$225,000 - $250,000
Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.

Additional compensation and benefits offered in connection with the role consist of comprehensive health benefits, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, and FSA benefits; paid time off; life insurance; 401(k) plan; and discretionary bonuses. Certain employees may also be eligible for equity and other incentive compensation at Blackstone’s sole discretion.
