Director of Large Format Production

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Director of Large Format Production to lead and execute all aspects of our large format and signage operations. This role requires hands‑on production expertise, installation experience (interior and exterior), and a strong understanding of large format print workflows and equipment.

This is a leadership‑level production role for someone who takes ownership, solves problems independently, and takes pride in delivering high‑quality finished products.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform professional vinyl and signage installations (interior and exterior)
• Operate and maintain large format equipment including flatbed printers, roll‑to‑roll printers, vinyl plotters, laminators, and CNC/routing equipment if applicable
• Manage large format production workflow from file prep to final installation
• Ensure quality control standards are consistently met
• Troubleshoot equipment and production issues
• Assist in material selection and job planning
• Work directly with sales and design teams to ensure accurate execution
• Maintain an organized, efficient, and safe production environment
• Help develop and improve systems within the large format department

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in large format printing and signage production
• Proven vinyl installation experience (walls, windows, vehicles, panels, dimensional signage)
• Experience with RIP software and production workflow systems
• Ability to operate lifts and work at heights (or willingness to be certified)Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills
• Bonus: Graphic design experience (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, file setup for production)

Compensation & Growth

Salary range is $55,000 to $75,000 annually, depending on experience. Additional growth and compensation opportunities may be available based on performance and department growth.
