Production Director

Overview:

Compass City Church is seeking a skilled, spiritually grounded Production Director to lead and execute live production across all ministry environments. This full-time role ensures excellence in audio, video, lighting, and media while building strong volunteer teams and supporting the vision of every worship experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead live production for weekend services, rehearsals, and special events across the Worship Center, Students, Kids, and other ministry spaces.
• Serve as Lighting Director, Video Director, Audio Engineer, or Service Producer as needed.
• Program, operate, and troubleshoot lighting, video, and audio systems to support worship flow and message clarity across all environments.
• Oversee live video direction, including switching, shading, signal routing, and camera leadership across modern broadcast systems.
• Oversee and mix audio for both in-house and online experiences, managing professional console and networked audio systems to ensure clarity, consistency, and excellence in every environment.
• Support worship playback and production environments using industry-standard digital audio and playback tools.
• Manage service flow, cues, media, and scheduling through church service planning and presentation software platforms.
• Work closely with the Worship Pastor, Music Director, and Graphic/Video Director to ensure creative and technical alignment across all services and events.
• Recruit, train, and develop volunteers in video, lighting, audio, and production roles.
• Maintain and prepare worship center for Sunday gatherings.

REPORTS TO: Executive Worship Pastor

POSITION TYPE: Full-time, hourly, 40 hours per week. Salary will be determined based on experience.
