Role
This high-impact role reports directly to the President and is a strategic thought partner to the executive team. You will own the entire Finance and Accounting function and will help drive scale through process optimizations, rigorous budgeting and forecasting, and cash flow management.
What You’ll Do
Strategic Leadership
Serve as a financial partner, turning data into clear, actionable decisions
Lead long- and short-term financial planning and drive strategy across growth, profitability, and capital allocation
Partner with Marketing, Planning and Operations to improve efficiency, margins, inventory position, and pricing
Own and drive the OKR process, ensuring accountability throughout
Lead planning aligned with ambitious growth targets and exit readiness
Financial Planning & Analysis
Build robust financial models across channels, SKUs, and cost centers
Lead annual budgeting and drive monthly/quarterly forecasts
Deliver weekly reporting across revenue, margin, cash, and key KPIs
Provide ad-hoc modeling for key initiatives
Accounting & Close
Oversee timely and accurate monthly close
Oversee journal entries, accruals, reconciliations
Deliver monthly management reporting, review with teams, ensuring budget alignment
Treasury & Cash Management
Run weekly cash flow and a 13-week rolling forecast
Identify risks early, proactively managing working capital
Oversee AP/AR timing to optimize the cash conversion cycle
Team & Systems
Directly manage the accounting team
Implement process improvements and automation to drive speed and efficiency
What You’ll Bring
7+ years of finance and accounting experience, including experience in a director-level capacity
Demonstrated experience scaling a high-growth 8 to 9 figure ecommerce business in apparel or consumer goods
Proven ability to lead both FP&A and accounting functions including financial modeling, close management, and management reporting
Strong working capital and cash flow management background, with exposure to Asia-based sourcing and international AP processes
Experience leading a small team in a lean, high-ownership operating environment
Hybrid role based in Glendale, CA with an expectation of approximately three to four in-office days per week.
