Sheet Metal Fabricator

Key Responsibilities Read, interpret, and follow blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to fabricate sheet metal components. Operate a variety of sheet metal machinery, including: Strippit, CNC & Manual Press Brakes, Shears, Notchers, Drill Press, Laser Machines, Lathes, Milling Machines, Grinders, Sanders, and more. Perform sheet metal modifications, deburring, finishing, and assembly to meet customer specifications. Maintain production schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols. Utilize SAP or ERP systems to manage work orders, materials, and production tracking (for Fabricator Level 2 & 3). Provide input on design feasibility, sheet metal capabilities, and fixture creation (for Level 3). Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and improve processes. Follow all company policies and procedures, including safety, quality, and compliance standards. Qualifications
Sheet Metal Fabricator 2 Must have 1+ year experience as Fabricator Level 1. Operate at least 15 out of 22 machines, including basic CNC and laser programming. Ability to produce complex sheet metal components from blueprints. Experience using SAP or ERP systems for work order management. Perform preventive maintenance on machines and create custom fixtures as needed. Skills & Certifications (Preferred / Relevant) CNC Press Brake Programming Laser Cutting / Fabrication Welding & Spot Welding Certification Blueprint Reading & GD&T Sheet Metal Layout & Assembly OSHA or Safety Training Certification Forklift Operation Certification Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) Physical Requirements Lift/carry up to 40 lbs. Ability to stand for extended periods, operate machinery safely. Clear verbal and written communication; ability to use telephone effectively. Compliance with ADA, FMLA, and all federal, state, and local regulations. Additional Information
