Collections & Customer Retention Specialist
Help customers. Strengthen relationships. Drive results. We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Collections & Retention Specialist to join our growing pest control team. This role is ideal for someone who can confidently manage accounts receivable while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer care. You'll play a key role in reducing past-due accounts, improving customer retention, and supporting overall branch success. Key Responsibilities Manage and collect on past-due customer accounts in a timely and professional manner Make outbound and receive inbound calls regarding billing, payments, and account status Work with customers to resolve payment issues, establish payment arrangements, and upsell services Identify opportunities to retain customers by addressing concerns and offering solutions Process payments and update customer account information accurately in the system Collaborate with branch staff to ensure a seamless customer experience Maintain detailed records of collection efforts and customer interactions Escalate complex issues as needed while maintaining customer satisfaction Support overall accounts receivable goals and company initiatives Qualifications 2+ years of experience in collections, customer retention, or customer service Strong communication and negotiation skills Ability to handle difficult conversations with professionalism and empathy Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Pest control or service industry experience is a plus What We Offer: Pest USA offers competitive pay along with a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as supplemental benefits.
