We are currently looking for a Talent Development & Acquisition Director to join our Human Resources team.

Job Summary

The Talent Development & Acquisition Director leads the organizational learning strategy, development programs, and enterprise‑wide recruiting efforts. This role designs and delivers training, oversees the Learning Management System (LMS), and manages talent acquisition activities, including supervision of one recruiter. The position partners with leaders across the bank to strengthen workforce capability, support leadership development, and ensure a high‑quality candidate and employee learning experience.

What you can expect to work on

  • Work with the HR team and department leaders to assess organizational training needs and design learning strategy aligned with business goals.
  • Develop and deliver training programs using diverse methods such as workshops, coaching, and on‑the‑job training.
  • Select, manage, and evaluate external training vendors.
  • Maintain awareness of emerging learning technologies and best practices.
  • Build leadership and high‑potential development pathways—including oversight of a formal emerging talent program—while evaluating program effectiveness and continuously improving design and delivery.

Learning & Development Operational Oversight

  • Oversee L&D operations, including managing the L&D budget, allocating resources, and administering the LMS (learning assignments, user management, reporting), while coordinating with IT, Compliance, and vendors to ensure system functionality and support required training.
  • Maintain and optimize training records and content, including overseeing uploads and updates to multimedia/e‑learning materials, and tracking, monitoring, and reporting on training participation, effectiveness, and ROI.
  • Lead enterprise‑wide recruiting strategy and execution, including senior‑level hiring.
  • Manage the recruiting process ensuring continuous process improvement focus to ensure high quality candidates and candidate experience.
  • Stay current on market trends and innovative sourcing strategies.

Qualifications

Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive learning/development and talent acquisition experience, including 2+ years in a managerial or strategic role.
  • Strong instructional design, facilitation, and adult learning expertise.
Preferred
  • Experience in banking or financial services.
  • Experience developing and delivering leadership and professional development programs.
  • Certifications such as CPTD (ATD), SHRM‑CP/SHRM‑SCP, or similar.
  • Familiarity with LMS platforms and e‑learning tools such as Articulate or Adobe Captivate.
