Role : Marketing Graphic Designer
Supporting : Large Financial Services Client
Location : Hybrid in Merrifield, VA
Assignment Type : Contract Only
Duration : Approx.12 months (2112 hours)
Pay Range : $25 - $38 per/ hr. Specific compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other relevant factors.
Position Description:
We're looking for a creative, detaildriven Marketing Graphic Designer to join a highimpact Brand & Marketing team. In this role, you'll conceptualize, design, and produce sophisticated digital and print assets that support enterpriselevel campaigns, brand initiatives, and daytoday communications.
You'll collaborate with crossfunctional partners, participate in strategic design discussions, and turn concepts into polished deliverables using Adobe Creative Suite, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, AEM, and templated environments. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured, fastpaced creative setting, enjoys problemsolving, and loves elevating the user experience through compelling design.
You'll help drive visually engaging marketing materials across web, email, social, animation, photography, and video, while ensuring everything aligns to brand standards, accessibility requirements, and overall business goals.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Interactive Media, or equivalent experience
- Strong experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro, XD, Animate, Lightroom)
- Digital design experience, especially email design
- Working knowledge of HTML/CSS
- Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar email platforms
- Skilled in designing for both digital and print: web graphics, social media, animations, product/brand visuals, and layout work
- Ability to create interaction designs that improve user experience
- Experience with digital accessibility standards
- Ability to develop persuasive conceptual ideas, translate requirements into visual solutions, and work independently with sound judgment
- Strong communication, feedback collaboration, and timemanagement skills
- Experience working in crossfunctional, multidisciplinary teams
- Researchdriven mindset with awareness of current design trends, technologies, and methodologies
- Experience working within large, structured organizations
- Familiarity with financial industry design standards
- Understanding of complex brand systems, production methods, and corporate communications
