NetOps Specialist Senior

Leidos is looking to hire a NetOps Specialist Senior in Kaneohe Bay, HI to join our SMIT program. SMIT is the largest IT services program for the Navy that delivers the core backbone of the Navy‑Marine Corps Intranet, including cybersecurity services, network operations, service desk, and data transport. The NetOps Specialist Senior will perform enterprise network operations and engineering support for a broad range of programs, planning, designing, and evaluating components of the USMC network on the Service Management, Integration and Transport (SMIT) program.

Responsibilities

Coordinate infrastructure repairs including directing remote activities to ensure continuity for service delivery.

Review root cause analysis documentation to address performance management and incident correlation issues.

Work within the DevSecOps methodology to plan and support implementation of new technologies.

Prepare recommendations for resolutions to NetOps challenges based on monitoring results, tools analysis, and/or forensics.

Assist the Cyber Team in employing approved defense‑in‑depth principles and practices (e.g., defense‑in‑multiple places, layered defenses, and security robustness).

Assist with the collection of intrusion artifacts (e.g., source code, malware, and trojans) and use discovered data to enable mitigation of potential computer network defense (CND) incidents within the enterprise.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with 8 years of relevant experience or a High School Diploma with a minimum of 15 years of related experience.

US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance.

Must possess a Security+ certification and also one of the following: CCNP or a CCNA with a CCNP in progress.

Compensation & Benefits Pay Range:

$92,300.00 - $166,850.00. The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
