What You’ll Do
As an Underwriter, you’ll play a key role in helping customers secure financing by evaluating credit applications and working closely with dealers and internal teams. Your day will include:
Reviewing and analyzing auto loan credit applications
Assessing risk and determining creditworthiness
Accurately using our underwriting software
Building strong relationships with dealerships in Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky
Providing proactive, timely loan updates to customers and dealers
Collecting and verifying required documentation
Maintaining clean, accurate data in our origination system
Making outbound calls for followups and dealer engagement
Prioritizing your loan pipeline to ensure quick and efficient funding
Contributing to a collaborative, customer first team environment
What We’re Looking For
Experience with indirect auto lending processes
Analytical thinker with strong attention to detail
Comfortable multitasking in a fast paced setting
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Tech savvy and comfortable with loan origination systems
Positive, can‑do attitude and a team oriented mindset
Proven ability to build and maintain long term relationships
Bilingual (English & Spanish) a plus
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
