Overview A growing real estate organization is seeking an experienced and driven Property Manager to take ownership of day-to-day operations across an expanding residential portfolio. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and can confidently manage both tenant relationships and financial performance.
You’ll play a key role in stabilizing operations, reducing escalations, and supporting the continued growth of the portfolio.
Key Responsibilities Property Operations
Manage daily operations across a residential rental portfolio
Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants and resident concerns
Partner closely with leasing and maintenance teams to ensure efficient operations
Oversee lease renewals, property inspections, and general portfolio performance
Assist with vendor coordination and contract management
Collections & Financial Management
Lead rent collection efforts and proactively manage delinquent accounts
Handle eviction processes and navigate court proceedings as needed
Accurately track and record tenant payments
Support reporting on property performance and key metrics
Compliance & Programs
Coordinate housing voucher processes, including inspections and renewals
Ensure adherence to fair housing laws and local regulations
Growth & Strategy
Identify opportunities to expand the portfolio through new management opportunities
Support broader business initiatives tied to portfolio growth
Qualifications Required
Experience managing residential properties (single-family preferred)
Strong background in rent collections and delinquency management
Comfortable handling difficult conversations and driving resolutions
Familiarity with eviction processes and court proceedings
Preferred
Experience working with housing voucher programs (Section 8 or similar)
Experience with property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio, RealPage)
