The ideal candidate should possess exceptional communication and problem-solving skills and have a good understanding of insurance products and services.**Responsibilities:*** Answer phone calls and respond to email inquiries from policyholders and prospects.* Process changes to the policy as requested by the insured according to agency procedure* Issue certificates of insurance as requested by insured and/or broker* Create billing activities for accounting.
This function may involve reviewing the insured’s account, obtaining finance agreements and collect payment from the insured.* Monitor pending cancellations according to agency procedure.* Keep all information in agency management system accurate including driver/vehicles schedules* Activity all correspondence, email, phones calls, etc. in agency management system* Utilize suspense system for pending items* Provide back up for other agency service staff as needed*\*This description is not meant to be all-inclusive and may be modified from time to time at the discretion of management\****Requirements*** High school diploma or equivalent.* Preferably 3 years of experience in customer service, in the insurance industry.* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.* Property & Casualty License preferred.
