GDS Consultant
to join our growing remote team! If you have extensive knowledge of Sabre and Amadeus GDS systems and are passionate about revolutionizing travel technology, this is the perfect opportunity.
Primary Responsibilities
Provide expert guidance on
Sabre and Amadeus GDS systems
implementation and integration
Develop and maintain
API connectivity
between our platform and major GDS systems
Optimize booking workflows and
content management
processes
Collaborate with developers to implement
GDS-specific features
and functionalities
Troubleshoot and resolve
complex GDS integration issues
Monitor and ensure compliance with
GDS agreements
and technical requirements
Create and maintain
technical documentation
for GDS integrations
Stay current with
GDS updates
and evolving industry standards
Required Skills
Minimum 3 years of experience working with
Sabre and Amadeus GDS systems
Proven expertise implementing and integrating
GDS APIs
Strong understanding of
travel booking workflows
and industry standards
Experience with
API development
and web services
Knowledge of
XML, JSON, SOAP,
and RESTful architectures
Familiarity with
PNR structures
and booking data management
Problem-solving skills with ability to diagnose and resolve
complex technical issues
Excellent
communication skills
to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Nice to Have
Experience with
Travelport/Galileo GDS
Knowledge of
NDC (New Distribution Capability)
standards and implementation
Background in
travel agency operations
or OTA development
Experience with
airline fare rules
and pricing optimization
Programming skills in
Node.js, PHP,
or other backend languages
Familiarity with
cloud infrastructure
(AWS, Azure)
IATA
or other travel industry certifications
Fully remote
