Position: Part‑Time Sales Merchandiser – Orlando Schedules may vary based on availability; weekends are required. A typical part‑time merchandiser schedule is Friday, Saturday, and Sunday in the afternoon/evening. Below is the core responsibilities, requirements, and physical duties for this role.
What You Will Do As a Sales Merchandiser, you will be the primary Coke Florida associate in customer accounts, responsible for stocking, replenishing, merchandising, and providing excellent customer service. You will place orders, maintain inventory levels, and communicate with account teams.
Roles and Responsibilities
Build and maintain product displays and equipment placements in compliance with company standards.
Maintain appropriate product inventory levels in beverage sections and throughout accounts.
Place timely, accurate orders per ad calendar and adjust orders based on influencing factors.
Manage back stock inventory levels and trade breakage.
Meet customer service expectations through daily communication, problem resolution, and follow‑up.
Maintain professional relationships with coworkers, customers, and shoppers.
Ensure account meets merchandising standards and properly face and spin product.
Determine store product needs, place, and transmit appropriate orders.
Conduct store surveys.
Communicate account activities, including equipment service needs.
Maintain merchandising standards and efficiencies while rotating products.
Organize backroom inventory in an orderly manner.
Maintain cleanliness of equipment, sales floor, and shelves.
Transport, replace, and maintain point‑of‑sale advertising as appropriate.
Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
Comply with all company policies, procedures, and applicable laws.
Identify and report unsafe working conditions.
Comply with dress code or appearance/grooming standards.
Work assigned shifts and schedules.
Requirements
High School diploma or GED required.
Must provide and maintain a personal vehicle for use during employee working hours.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Must be eligible to work in the United States.
Ability to operate a manual/powered pallet jack or lift product. Certification as required.
Valid driver's license.
Valid vehicle liability insurance as specified by the company.
Driving record with no major moving violations in the last three (3) years.
Additional Qualifications
Associate degree / 1–2 yr. college – university degree preferred.
1+ year previous sales/merchandising experience preferred.
Strong attention to detail and follow‑up skills.
Excellent planning and organization skills.
Ability to use and understand mobile applications.
Proficient in computer application skills.
1+ year working under minimal or no supervision preferred.
Physical Requirements
Repetitively lift, carry, and position objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance frequently.
Repetitively push and pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds while kneeling, squatting, reaching above the head, at the waist, below the knees, and bending at the knees frequently.
Repetitively push and pull manual transport equipment containing product loads a minimum of 100 yards without assistance frequently.
Repetitively grasp and manipulate objects of varying size and weight requiring fine motor skills and hand‑eye coordination.
Exert oneself physically over sustained periods of time to complete job activities.
Stand a minimum of 6 hours during the workday.
Walk a minimum of 4 miles during the workday.
Frequently work in a hot/humid outdoor environment.
