Within real estate credit, the team is primarily focused on housing-related investments, with broader flexibility across industrial, retail and mixed-use assets.
Leste is hiring an Originations Analyst to join its real estate credit team. The role offers excellent exposure to the full transaction cycle – supporting sourcing, underwriting, and execution. The Analyst will work closely with senior investment professionals in underwriting and executing senior bridge loans and selective structured equity investments
Job Description:
Build and interpret complex financial models covering property cash flows, credit underwriting and partnership returns Analyze and synthesize market and sector-specific research to inform investment decision-making and substantiate investment theses Evaluate business plan risk, market positioning and conduct scenario modeling Prepare investment committee memoranda and present new investment opportunities Support due diligence and transaction execution, including sponsor and third-party diligence coordination Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, STEM or a related quantitative field with a strong academic record 1-3 years of experience in real estate investing (acquisitions or originations), investment banking, direct lending or securitized products Proven ability to assess, distill and communicate complex structures to senior team members and investment committee audiences Excellent written and spoken communication skills; comfortable owning and presenting IC materials Advanced proficiency in Excel, financial modeling and PowerPoint Highly organized and ownership-oriented – ability to manage multiple live transactions simultaneously
