$18.00–$19.00 per hour

Job Summary

The

Marketing Intern

will provide hands‑on, in‑office support to CCMSI’s Marketing team in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment. This part‑time role is ideal for a college student pursuing a marketing or related degree who is looking to gain real‑world experience while developing practical skills in marketing operations, collateral preparation, and basic design.

Primary responsibilities include assisting with printing, collating, cutting, binding, shipping materials, and finalizing PDFs for corporate communications, questionnaires, and marketing collateral. The role will also support basic design updates to existing materials as needed. Accuracy, organization, and reliability are essential to success in this position.

Responsibilities

Assist with printing, collating, cutting, binding, and assembling marketing materials

Prepare and finalize PDF documents for proposals, questionnaires, and marketing use

Support basic design updates to existing marketing collateral as directed

Assist with general in‑office marketing tasks and departmental projects

Coordinate packing and shipping of convention or event materials when needed

Work collaboratively with the Marketing team to meet deadlines

Maintain accuracy, quality, and organization of finished materials

Communicate clearly and professionally with team members

Maintain reliable and predictable attendance during agreed‑upon hours

Qualifications Required:

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Currently pursuing a Marketing degree (DACC or similar program)

Comfortable working in‑office in Danville, IL

Ability to work part‑time mornings with flexibility around school schedules

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Familiarity with

Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator , or similar design tools

Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Dependable, organized, and team‑oriented work style

Nice to Have:

Previous internship or coursework related to marketing or design

Basic project management or organizational experience

Familiarity with marketing concepts, practices, or collateral production

Experience reviewing materials for accuracy and consistency

The posted salary reflects CCMSI’s good‑faith estimate in accordance with applicable pay transparency laws. Actual compensation will be based on qualifications, experience, geographic location, and internal equity. This role may also qualify for bonuses or additional forms of pay.
