Regional Construction Equipment Outside Sales Representative
ideally based in
Williston or Bismarck, North Dakota , to support and grow business across
North Dakota and Eastern Montana . This individual will be responsible for building and maintaining strong customer relationships, promoting and selling a full line of construction equipment, and consistently achieving sales objectives. This is a field-based role requiring a self-starter with strong communication skills, a solid understanding of the construction and heavy equipment industry, and the ability to effectively manage a large geographic territory. Responsibilities include managing sales for

Parts & Service Sales
Drive sales of parts and service solutions for off-highway equipment. Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate parts, services, and solutions to maximize equipment performance. Build and maintain strong customer relationships to increase satisfaction and repeat business. New & Used Equipment Sales
Manage sales of new and used equipment, leveraging in-depth product knowledge to match customers with the right solutions. Provide detailed product information, conduct demonstrations, and facilitate equipment sales. Promote rental equipment options to customers in need of temporary solutions for off-highway equipment. Coordinate with internal departments to ensure availability and delivery of rental equipment. Maintenance Agreements
Drive sales of maintenance agreements for both renewal and new contracts. Identify potential clients who need ongoing maintenance solutions. Present customized maintenance agreement options based on customer needs. Maintain and renew existing agreements while generating new business through outreach and client engagement. Product Knowledge & Representation
Represent a wide range of leading product lines with the primary focus on Liebherr Construction equipment. Also, promoting our other product lines, Detroit, Allison, MTU, Atlas Copco, Volvo Penta Industrial, and Deutz. Stay informed on product developments and industry trends to provide accurate information and recommendations to customers. Customer Relationship Management
Develop and manage a portfolio of customers, actively seeking out new opportunities while maintaining existing relationships. Use Interstate Power Systems tools to track sales activity, customer interactions, and follow-up actions. Collaboration with Parts, and Maintenance Teams: Collaborate with the parts, and maintenance departments to ensure customer requests are fulfilled accurately and efficiently. Coordinate with internal teams to track order fulfillment, service completion, and inventory levels. Qualifications
Proven experience in sales, particularly in parts and service or heavy equipment industries. Knowledge of off-highway equipment, specifically construction equipment. Familiarity with the listed product lines (Detroit, Allison, MTU, Atlas Copco, Liebherr, Volvo Penta Industrial, and Deutz) is a strong asset. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-first mindset. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed. Employee Benefits
