This is a hands‑on technical role that requires an advanced software/systems engineering background. Coding/automation and design/architecture skills are required! The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking a skilled Delivery Consultant to join our team at AWS. ProServe is a global organization of experts that help customers realize their desired business outcomes when utilizing AWS. We work together with customer teams and the AWS Partner Network (APN) to execute enterprise cloud computing initiatives. Our team provides assistance through a collection of offerings that help customers achieve specific outcomes related to enterprise cloud adoption. We also deliver focused guidance through our global specialty practices, which cover a variety of solutions, technologies, and industries.
Responsibilities
Design and implement complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs.
Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies.
Act as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies.
Share knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts.
Qualifications Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent.
3+ years of experience with the software development lifecycle from conception to delivery.
Experience designing, planning and implementing applications and/or database migrations to the cloud.
Current, active U.S. Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience communicating technical concepts to diverse audiences in pre‑sales environments.
Experience leading the design, development and deployment of business software at scale or recent hands‑on experience with technology infrastructure, network, compute, storage, and virtualization.
Experience in performance optimization and cost management for cloud environments.
Knowledge of security and compliance standards including HIPAA and GDPR.
AWS experience preferred, with proficiency in a wide range of AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation).
Experience with automation and scripting (e.g., Terraform, Python).
Experience with AWS data/file transfer solutions including AWS Application Migration Service (MGN), AWS Database Migration Service (DMS), and/or AWS DataSync.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
