About the Role CODE is seeking an experienced industry practitioner in Digital Marketing to teach the Advanced Digital Marketing module during the Fall Term 2026. The course is designed for senior professionals who can bring real-world expertise and practice-oriented learning to our graduate students. Teaching will take place in person in Berlin from September to December 2026.

Course Description The module explores the evolution of digital marketing strategies in the context of technological change and customer-centric innovation. Students will learn to analyze markets, design effective digital marketing strategies, and apply emerging technologies in marketing.

Digital Marketing Strategy

Strategic positioning and differentiation in digital markets

Omnichannel marketing strategies and customer journey design

Performance marketing and ROI-driven decision making

Data-driven marketing strategy and growth frameworks

Aligning marketing with product and technology strategy

Applied Technology in Marketing

Generative AI in marketing strategy and campaign development

AI-supported marketing analytics and decision-making

Marketing automation and digital marketing tool ecosystems

Experimentation and optimization in digital marketing

Integrating AI into modern marketing workflows

Students are expected to understand how new technologies can support the design and optimization of marketing strategies and business initiatives.

Students will engage with practical digital marketing challenges and apply strategic frameworks and technological tools to real-world scenarios.

Key Responsibilities

Teach graduate-level sessions in Advanced Digital Marketing

Deliver practice-oriented lectures and hands-on workshops

Introduce students to strategic frameworks and real-world digital marketing cases

Supervise student work in applied assignments and case-based learning

Design and conduct assessments (e.g., practical or oral examinations)

Support students in connecting marketing strategy with technological innovation

Requirements

Extensive professional experience in digital marketing, growth, or marketing strategy

Demonstrated expertise in one or more of the following:

Digital marketing strategy

Performance marketing

Marketing analytics

AI-supported marketing systems

Growth and go-to-market strategy

Experience with technology-driven products, startups, or innovation environments

Excellent communication and facilitation skills

Fluency in English

Experience with AI tools in marketing practice

Preferred:

Previous teaching, lecturing, or mentoring experience; industry thought leadership (publications, talks, professional recognition)

Additional Requirements

Having a German bank account to be able to get paid.
