Reporting tothe DigitalContent Manager, theSocial Media ContentCoordinator will support social media execution, copywriting, video production, and performance reporting across platforms.They will work closely with the Video Producer,Director of Marketing,andother members of the Audiences team on the creation of digital assets to support organiccontentand paidadvertising needs.This position plays a critical role in shaping HGO’s digital voice, amplifying productions and initiatives, and turning audience engagement into measurable growth.

Key Responsibilities Video Production & Visual Storytelling Capture and edit short-form video content (Reels,TikToks, Stories, YouTube Shorts) from concept through deliverywithstrong attention to pacing, music, motion, transitions, and brand tone.

Repurpose long-form content (interviews, livestreams, rehearsals) into short-form clips, teasers, and promotional assets.

Assistin planning and setting up video shoots, including coordinating schedules, drafting briefs,crafting compelling video scripts & hooks,preparing shot lists, and securing approvals.

Collaborate withmarketing team, artists, andoutside contractorsto execute video projects on time and within brand standards.

Assistwith creation ofquick-turnaroundcontent during performances and events, capturing behind-the-scenes moments and audience excitement.

Social Media Execution & Copywriting Write and edit engaging, platform-specific copy for social media & paid advertising efforts, including compelling captions, and campaign messaging aligned with HGO’s brand voice.

Maintain and execute a structured content calendar tied to production campaigns and institutional priorities.

Ensure all messaging reflects HGO’s artistic excellence, community impact, and strategic goals. Proofread andmaintainhigh editorial standards across digital channels.

Support daily posting, scheduling, monitoring, and engagement across platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and emerging channels.

Partner with internal departments (Artistic, Development, Audiences) to ensure cohesive, cross-departmental messaging.

Coordinate artist takeovers and talent-led content aligned with brand guidelines.

Assistinidentifyingand coordinating brand-appropriate influencersfor social media campaigns.

Monitor comments and direct messages, fostering positive and professional audience interactions.

Reporting & Insights Track engagement, follower growth, website traffic, and campaign performance using tools such as Google Analytics and social media analytics platforms.

Assistin compiling weekly and monthly KPI reports for the Digital Marketing Manager, Director of Marketing, and senior leadership.

Translate data into clear insights and actionable recommendations tooptimizeperformance.

Support A/B testingof messaging, content formats, and posting cadence to drive growth and conversions.

Learn and follow internal review and approval processes, including brand, legal, and rights considerations.

Qualifications 2+ years of experience in digital marketing, social media, communications, or relatedfield.

Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with the ability to adapt tone by platform and audience.

Demonstrated experience editing short-form video content.Preferred experience withAdobe Premiere Proor mobile editingsoftware(i.e.,CapCut, etc.)

Experienceassistingwith or coordinating video shoots, including scheduling, briefing, and asset management.

Strong understanding of major social media platforms and performance metrics.

Experience with analytics tools (Google Analytics and/or social media reporting platforms).

Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.

Comfortable working in a live-event environment, including evenings and weekends.

Evening and weekend workare requiredto capture performances, rehearsals, andspecial events.

Knowledge of opera, classical music, or performing arts is a plus.
