Lead UI / UX Designer (Direct Hire, Hybrid/On-site, San Francisco, CA)
Evolvesquads, San Francisco, CA, United States
Project Description
We are a building automation and controls company. We make hardware and software to allow facility managers to better control and maintain their assets (HVAC units, boilers, refrigeration units, etc.).
Project Stack and Team We’re looking for a lead UX/UI Designer to join our team and help shape the V1 of our product. Do you wake up at night thinking about tweaking that form a few pixels to the right? Do you watch Sci Fi movies and think “that’s terrible, I can do that better!” If so, reach out, we’re looking for you.
Main Requirements
UX and UI design chops, especially in Human-Computer Interaction
Strong embodiment of user experience principles
Someone who thinks about immediate and long-term goals without painting themselves into a corner
Deep knowledge of responsive design, usability, and accessibility practices
Good to Have
Knowledge sharing and continuous learning come naturally to you
Super focused on users and creating meaningful experiences
It should go without saying, but a strong portfolio
Job Responsibilities
Design, iterate, and improve on the path to creating pixel-perfect user flows and interfaces
Lead the implementation process with engineers to build the best product possible
Collaborate with the whole company (all half dozen of us) to shape and refine our V1 product with both immediate and long-term vision in mind
Show off your user-centered design principles and hold everyone to them
