Role Overview We are looking for a
Director of Engineering / Head of Engineering
to lead the design, development, and scaling of ManoloAI’s platform and AI systems.
You will be responsible for building and leading a high-performing engineering team, defining the technical architecture, and delivering production-grade systems that operate within enterprise supply chains.
This role requires a combination of
hands‑on technical leadership, product thinking, and execution at startup speed .
What You’ll Do Engineering Leadership
Build and lead the engineering team across data, platform, and AI systems
Set technical direction and engineering best practices
Establish a high-performance, execution-focused engineering culture
Architect scalable data platforms and AI systems
Design systems that integrate with ERP, logistics, and procurement platforms
Lead the development of Ariel’s agentic architecture
Product & Execution
Work closely with product and customers to define requirements
Translate business problems into scalable technical solutions
Drive end‑to‑end delivery from design to production
AI & Data Systems
Oversee development of AI models, pipelines, and agent frameworks
Ensure systems are reliable, observable, and production‑ready
Drive continuous improvement in performance and scalability
Hiring & Team Building
Recruit and mentor top engineering talent
Build a strong culture of ownership, learning, and execution
Develop future engineering leaders within the team
What We’re Looking For
10+ years of experience in software engineering, data platforms, or AI systems
Experience leading engineering teams in a startup or high‑growth environment
Strong background in building
data‑intensive and distributed systems
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
Familiarity with AI/ML systems and production deployments
Ability to operate at both
strategic and hands‑on levels
Nice to Have
Experience in supply chain, logistics, or enterprise systems
Experience integrating with ERP/WMS/TMS platforms
Experience building AI‑driven or agent‑based systems
