Director of Assisted Living (ALF Director)

East Ridge Village is seeking a Director for our Assisted Living, Memory Support and Community Life!
The Director of Assisted Living, Memory Support, and Community Life oversees the Assisted Living Facility, Vitality, Fitness, Life Enrichment and Activities. This includes being in compliance with all local, state, federal and accrediting body rules, regulations, and standards. Is responsible for the development, implementation, and evaluation of programs, care and services for residents. While also ensuring that programs and activities meet the highest levels of healthy living, social engagement, emotional comfort, and the general welfare of residents. This position reports to the Executive Director.
Requirements
Responsible for maintaining licensure and certification of the Assisted Living Facility and personal Administrator’s license; ensures compliance with state and federal regulations.
Oversees the development and updates of policies and standard operating procedures for Assisted Living, Memory Support, and Community Life.
Responsible for the overall operating budget and accountable for the expenditures of Assisted Living, Memory Support, and Community Life.
Responsible for departmental performance and develops, executes, and supports strategies and initiatives to provide an exceptional service experience in all areas of responsibility.
Provides direct supervision and support to the Assisted Living Manager, Nurse Manager, Life Enrichment Manager, Activities, Vitality and Fitness.
Responsible for managing staffing needs and associate recruitment and selection, training, discipline, counseling, and performance management.
Communicates in detail and in a prompt manner with all department directors, managers, and supervisors regarding services to East Ridge residents.
Participates in weekend Manager on Duty rotation and performs assigned duties.
Attends departmental education and all required in-service training/education.
Performs other duties as required.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
ALF CORE certification required.
One to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
