Role Purpose

The Sales Manager is responsible for driving sustainable revenue growth and long‑term customer value by leading new business development across large national accounts.

This role owns end‑to‑end sales cycle, while partnering with cross‑functional and global teams to propose and win innovative, data‑driven energy management solutions.

Sign up new customer to help grow revenue for Abound.

Role Responsibilities

Own the sales process from prospecting, reach out, negotiating and closing large multi‑year contracts.

Prospect and close deals with Fortune 500 companies based on the organization’s focus list.

Engage senior management on customer side to understand their needs and accordingly present tailored solutions.

Work with engineering and presales teams to customize the solutions and engage customer in consultative manner.

Work with facilities, Energy, Procurement and Legal teams in customer organization during negotiation and contracting process.

Provide weekly sales reports and detailed account plans.

Work with internal functions to strategize account pursuits and solution development for specific key accounts.

Experience in engaging senior management.

Self‑driven and willing to learn and talk technology, data science and analytics.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree.

7+ years of sales or new business development experience.

3+ years of experience in Energy Management / Energy Services.

Able to travel up to 50%.

Preferred Qualifications

Some late evening / early morning work is expected (primarily MS Teams calls with global teams).

Graduate Degree (MBA is desirable but not a requirement).

In Operating Technologies including BMS, Elevator, Security, lighting, etc. in the Commercial Building Industry.

Experience with IoT systems including widgets, sensors, etc. in the Commercial Building Industry.

Experience with Microsoft Office 365.

Pay Range The annual salary for this position is between $96,000.00 and $192,000.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.

Other Compensation This position is entitled to short‑term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
