Overview A well-established real estate organization is seeking a Commercial Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of large-scale office, retail, and industrial assets across the NY/NJ market. This is a high-visibility role focused on portfolio performance, tenant relations, and financial oversight within a structured, professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day operations of a multi-million-dollar commercial property portfolio
Review and interpret commercial leases, including lease abstractions and compliance
Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants, ensuring strong relationships and issue resolution
Oversee financial performance including budgeting, expense tracking, and rent collections
Coordinate with on-site field engineers and third-party vendors for maintenance and operations
Partner with internal teams on tenant retention, renewals, and overall asset performance
Conduct portfolio-level oversight without the need for frequent site visits
Prepare reports and provide updates to senior leadership
Qualifications
2+ years of commercial property management experience
Experience managing large, multi-million-dollar portfolios
Strong understanding of commercial leases and lease abstraction
Proficiency with Yardi, MRI, or similar property management systems
Strong Microsoft Office and Excel skills
Excellent communication and organizational abilities
