Full-time | Lake Wales, FL | Generator Installation Technician We are seeking an experienced Generator Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate has a strong background in installing standby generators and associated electrical or mechanical systems. If you take pride in high-quality workmanship, safe installations, and delivering a great customer experience, we want to hear from you. Responsibilities: Install residential and light commercial standby generator systems from start to finish Set and secure generators, including site prep (pads, mounting, placement) Perform electrical connections, including transfer switches and control wiring Assist with or coordinate gas/fuel line connections (propane/natural gas) Test systems to ensure proper startup, operation, and load performance Troubleshoot installation issues and make necessary adjustments on-site Provide clear, professional walkthroughs to customers on system operation and maintenance Accurately document installations, materials used, and time spent Follow all safety standards, codes, and company procedures Support service or maintenance calls as needed Qualifications / Required Skills: 2–3+ years of generator installation, electrical, or related field experience preferred Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude Experience with standby generators and transfer switches highly preferred Knowledge of basic electrical systems and safety practices Ability to read and interpret installation manuals, diagrams, and blueprints Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Apply today and grow your career with a company that has a history - and future - of success!
