High Science HCP/DTC - Senior Copywriter
Salary: $75,000-100,000
Responsibilities
Write clear, concise copy while maintaining quality control, proper grammar, agency process, client referencing, and legal requirements.
Collaborate and communicate productively with team members to ensure goals are met and to maintain the agency’s creative vision.
Demonstrate knowledge of marketing plans, objectives, strategies, and how success will be measured.
Maintain timely, detail‑oriented, and accurate administrative duties, including timesheets, expenses, and other required paperwork.
Research, analyze, and interpret data from clinical studies, presentations, and published papers.
Create copy content for assigned projects that is original, compelling, distinctive, and synergistic with art/graphics.
Perform proofing and editing on all copy, paying strict attention to copy/art agreement details.
Understand and implement agency/client review and routing systems, revising copy, identifying inconsistencies, and solving problems with supervisors or account services.
Logically organize material from a range of sources to create a compelling narrative/story flow.
Deliver solid work across a range of audiences and brands.
Maintain relationships with different agency departments—including Editorial, Account, Strategy, and Project Management.
Communicate deadlines, revisions, quality control, and new work requirements effectively with the team.
Collaborate with Art teams to support creative approaches that convey brand personality and messages.
Proactively seek new ideas and suggestions for personal career growth and team dynamics.
Begin mentoring and training junior team members.
Understand the creative brief and its role in creative evolution, taking client feedback into account.
Contribute innovative ideas appropriate to the client’s marketing strategy and audience needs.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
At least 2 years of Marketing/Advertising Business experience (preferred).
Portfolio demonstrating strong, consistent writing ability (required).
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Attentive, engaged, and motivated with a strong focus on detail.
Organizational skills: creating clear goals, identifying resources, and scheduling tasks.
Effective collaboration skills in a team environment.
Problem‑solving ability: identify causes, craft solutions, and resolve issues.
Creative thinking and the ability to generate distinctive concepts.
Understanding of brand value proposition and its significance in market access communications.
