VP of Global IT / CMMC / Defense Industry

Job Description
Are you looking for your next big challenge? A materials and manufacturing company that builds materials for defense contractors is looking for a VP of IT to oversee and overhaul their IT operations. They have several IT units across locations in the US and UK and are looking to standardize their IT operations. They also need to follow strict compliance standards such as DFAR, CMMC, ITAR, and NIST.
Ideal candidates have worked with CMMC, DFAR, ITAR, and/or NIST and are familiar with these requirements. Experience building out cybersecurity programs and overhauling IT systems and merging them into a standardized unit is also required. Experience in material sciences or manufacturing is a huge plus.
This role is on-site in Compton with up to 33% travel to New Jersey, Detroit, and overseas in the UK.
Due to the nature of the role, candidates must be a US citizen or have a Green Card, and cannot have traveled to a restricted country. Clearance is not required.
Required Skills & Experience
7+ years of experience in IT Systems
2+ years of experience in a leadership role, acting as a project lead, direct reports, etc.
Experience overhauling company-wide ERP strategy and infrastructure
Experience with CMMC compliance, and/or ITAR, DFARS, NIST, etc.
Experience overhauling and standardizing IT operations across locations and global sites
Strong communication skills
