Finance Manager/Director (Financial Services, Full-Cycle Accounting)

Our client is seeking a

Finance Manager/Director

to serve as the firm's senior finance professional and primary individual contributor, responsible for full‑cycle accounting, financial reporting, cash management, and forecasting. This is a hands‑on role with significant strategic visibility and the opportunity to shape the finance function as the company grows. The ideal candidate is comfortable rolling up their sleeves while also thinking strategically about systems, controls, and scalability. Requirements: Accounting & Financial Operations Manage banking relationships and cash accounts. Oversee invoice creation, tracking, and collections. Lead the transition from outsourced accounting services to an internal finance function. Own full‑cycle accounting, including payroll, AP/AR, bookkeeping, and general ledger management. Manage quarterly bonus calculations and reporting. Lead revenue forecasting, budgeting, and financial modeling. Monitor and forecast cash flow to support business growth. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Systems & Process Improvement Evaluate, select, and implement accounting and ERP systems. Build scalable processes, controls, and reporting infrastructure. Utilize CRM tools and Microsoft Office (Excel‑heavy role) for reporting and analysis. Business Partnership Support future international considerations as the firm expands. Serve as a trusted finance partner to the CEO and leadership team. Provide financial insights to support strategic and operational decisions. Qualifications/Must-Haves: 7+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience. Financial services industry experience strongly preferred. Advanced Excel skills; comfort with CRM and financial systems. Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment. Experience with ERP or accounting system implementation is a plus. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA a plus) Hands‑on experience with full‑cycle accounting in a growing organization.
