EY-Parthenon - Strategy and Execution - Corporate Real Estate - Director Location: Chicago (flexible within the region)

Join EY-Parthenon’s Corporate Real Estate practice to help CEOs, boards, investors, private equity and governments shape their real‑estate strategy. You will work on high‑profile CRE engagements across various sectors, leveraging EY’s global network to deliver innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Lead strategic and operational CRE projects, focusing on operating‑model design, service delivery, M&A support, portfolio strategy, and digital workplace.

Partner with practice leaders and client management to deliver innovative, data‑driven solutions.

Develop and present insights, scorecards, and implementation documents to clients.

Manage project budgets, schedules, and resource plans.

Act as a trusted advisor, communicating EY’s perspective on CRE trends and best practices.

Mentor junior staff and foster a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Engineering, Architecture, Business, Finance, or a related field and a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience; or a graduate degree and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

Credible experience in business development and strategic project delivery in corporate real‑estate, management consulting, workplace consulting, or technology consulting.

Knowledge of at least three core CRE consulting disciplines (operating‑model design, organizational design, service delivery, portfolio, workplace, occupancy, location, sustainability, technology, digital workplace strategy, and M&A/Divestiture support).

Experience in project‑management activities: resource planning, schedule development, engagement pricing, and budget management.

Excellent analytical skills and confidence translating complex data into actionable insights.

Experience leading and managing in complex business environments.

Strong negotiation and influencing skills, fostering long‑lasting internal and external relationships.

Exceptional writing and presentation skills.

Residence within commutable distance to the assigned office location.

High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Willingness to travel and work overtime as needed.

Preferred Experience

Prior professional services or management consulting experience.

Graduate degree in a relevant field.

Professional accreditation in real estate, design, engineering, construction, project management or process improvements (e.g., PE, PMP, CCIM, QCPR, MCR, SLCR, CPM, Lean Six Sigma).

Knowledge of how to leverage firm‑approved AI tools, such as Microsoft Copilot.

Competitive salary range: $115,100 to $239,800 (geography, education, experience, and skill set considered).
