Continuous Improvement Lead The Continuous Improvement Lead is responsible for the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of end-to-end operational and business processes across all business functions. This role ensures processes are scalable, compliant, and aligned with evolving organizational goals to support sustainable growth and operational excellence. Collaborates cross functionally to ensure product realization and work transfer projects meet organizational goals and schedule. Provides subject matter expertise as both the ERP process lead.

Our facility in St. Croix Falls, WI offers a range of ammunition handling & delivery systems supporting the full spectrum of small and medium caliber weapons.

Job Summary

Lead the development, implementation, and enhancement of business process to meet industry standards and internal performance goals

Responsible for managing continuous improvement roadmap and applicable projects across departments, ensuring alignment with organizational growth and strategic objectives

Utilize continuous improvement and process engineering methodologies to optimize workflows and automate processes where applicable

Drive change management by communicating process updates and providing training or resources to impacted teams

Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and quality metrics to assess process effectiveness and drive continuous improvement initiatives

Support deliverables for all quality related audits (ISO/AS9100/etc.)

Be the ERP subject matter expert for the assigned facility

Conducting ERP knowledge transfer sessions and explaining MRP/Logistics/Finance/Warehouse/Quality and overall ERP functionality to the user base

Supports implementation of planning tools such as the production work queue

Create detailed user documentation and training manuals

Develop and support New Product Introduction from design to factory floor

Support make to make work transfer projects

Responsible for protecting and maintaining all Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) appropriately to prevent unauthorized access, dissemination, or use of this information, documentation, or products; including authorized and proper use of such information in regards to marking, storing, transmitting, and destruction of data

Support all visitors and security policies to protect ITAR/EAR/CMMC/CUI information, documents, products, etc. from unauthorized access by informing management immediately of any concerns

Responsible for the proper handling and management of hazardous waste generated in employee's work area

Performs other duties as assigned

Regular and acceptable attendance is an essential function of this job

Required Skills and Qualifications

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, project management, and interpersonal skills

Experience working cross-functionally with diverse teams and managing multiple priorities

Must be able to clearly communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language

Must be able to work independently or with minimal supervision

Effective communication and leadership abilities to influence and guide teams through process changes

Required Experience and Education

H.S. Diploma or GED

Bachelor’sdegree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related technical/business field with 2+ years' experience in continuous improvement, process development, manufacturing engineering, business process management preferred OR 5+ years of experience in continuous improvement, process development, manufacturing engineering, business process management or related roles

Strong knowledge of process mapping, workflow design, quality management, and process validation

Proficiency with BPM tools, process simulation software, statistical analysis tools, and ERP/MRP systems is a plus

Ability to create custom reports or dashboards in ERP systems is a plus

Experience with Epicor ERP or Epicor Kinetic preferred

Licenses, Certifications, etc.

Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt preferred

Experience with lean manufacturing and process improvement methodologies preferred

ITAR/EAR Compliance: This position requires access to export-controlled information and/or hardware, and candidates must be U.S. Persons that comply with all U.S. Export control laws and regulation.
