Sales Engineer

Salary: Up to $110,000 annually (based on experience)
Position Overview We are looking for a Sales Engineer to support both technical and sales functions for complex manufacturing products and solutions. This role involves working directly with customers to understand project requirements while partnering with engineering and production teams to deliver high-quality, customized solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and present technical quotes, proposals, and product configurations
Prepare customer submittals, including drawings, cut sheets, and supporting documentation
Work closely with engineering and production teams to ensure design accuracy and feasibility
Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, distributors, and internal teams
Assist Project Managers throughout the manufacturing process to help ensure timely delivery
Participate in product training related to power systems, controls, and industry standards
Gain knowledge of applicable codes, regulations, and compliance requirements
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical/scientific discipline
0–2 years of experience in manufacturing, construction, or engineering support roles
Basic knowledge of electrical systems, generators, or mechanical power systems
Willingness to learn about manufacturing processes, sales cycles, and customer industries
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Familiarity with tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Microsoft Excel
Preferred Skills
Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities
Technical aptitude for understanding complex systems and product designs
