Job Overview We are seeking an AI-native Visual Designer to help redefine how creative is produced, scaled, and optimized across our business. This role blends e-commerce design, packaging, and AI-driven creative systems. You will not only design high-performing visuals—you will build faster, smarter workflows using AI to generate, iterate, and optimize creative at scale. You are someone who understands that the future of design is not just execution—it’s orchestrating tools, systems, and ideas to dramatically increase creative output and performance.

Please note this role is fully on-site at our headquarters in Jersey City, New Jersey. It’s annual base salary range is between $80,000 - $100,000 based on skills, experience and perceived potential impact to our business.

Key Responsibilities E-commerce Design

Design high-quality visual assets for:

E-commerce product pages (PDP’s, banners, A+ content)

Landing pages and promotional campaigns

Email marketing and social media ads

Build modular, scalable design systems optimized for rapid iteration

Continuously improve creative based on performance metrics

Create compelling product imagery

Ensure brand consistency across all digital touchpoints

Collaborate with:

Marketing team on campaign concepts, to align messaging and visuals

Product teams to understand features and positioning

Stay current with design trends, e-commerce, and competitor visuals

Prepare assets for multiple platforms (Amazon, Shopify, social media, etc.)

Packaging Design

Create packaging systems that translate seamlessly between physical and digital environments

Develop packaging that is:

Visually distinctive on shelf

Content-ready for e-commerce and marketing reuse

Own production‑ready files and collaborate with in‑house sourcing and merchandisers

Use AI to rapidly prototype packaging directions

AI Creative Execution

Use AI as a core part of your daily workflow:

Generate product imagery, environments, and lifestyle scenes

Create rapid concept explorations and design variations

Produce scalable creative assets across SKUs and campaigns

Image enhancement, retouching, and upscaling

Layout ideation and variant generation for testing

Required Skills & Qualifications

2–5 years of experience in visual design within e-commerce and consumer products

Strong portfolio showcasing:

Conversion-focused digital design

Packaging design and production understanding

Scalable creative systems or campaigns

Proficiency in design tools:

Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc)

Figma or similar tools

Experience with AI tools such as:

Higgsfield, Gemini, ChatGPT, or similar

Understanding of:

E-commerce best practices

UX/UI principles for online shopping

Digital marketing fundamentals

Package design process and production

Strong attention to detail and visual hierarchy

Experience designing for Amazon, Shopify, or DTC brands
