Primary Purpose Develop, manage and implement strategic advertising campaigns and sponsorships for Atlantic City Electric, Delmarva Power, and PECO, focusing on key topics such as bill support programs, reliability, electric & gas safety, storm preparedness, and community engagement. This position leverages market research to create data‑driven communications that effectively inform, engage, and educate customers and communities. Position may be required to work extended hours for coverage during storms or other energy delivery emergencies.
Note: This is a hybrid position (in‑office with remote flexibility). Employees are required to be in office at least three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday).
This role is open to our office within Delaware.
You must be able to commute within our service area to be considered.
Primary Duties
Develop, manage and implement multiple customer educational and promotional advertising campaigns and sponsorships targeting residential customers, business customers and/or stakeholders. (40%)
Manage creative and media buying agencies that support the advertising strategy and tactics. (40%)
Manage advertising budgets including budget development, invoice processing, accruals and forecasting. (10%)
Help develop and leverage market research to achieve advertising objectives. (10%)
Job Scope
Position reports to the Communications Manager
Position is full‑time and based in Newark, DE.
Position will work across multiple departments, company executives and external stakeholders to manage multiple marketing plans.
Requires ability to travel.
Requires ability to work extended hours in evening and/or weekend.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or other relevant field
4–7 years relevant experience or equivalent
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong leadership and project management skills
In lieu of a degree, 6–9 years of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced degree
Familiarity with cross‑channel marketing
Experience with vendor management
Strong business acumen

Annual salary will vary based on a candidate’s skills, qualifications, experience, and other factors: $84,000.00/Yr. – $115,500.00/Yr.
