to help bring our weekly newsletter to life. This is a steady, creative role with clear content, realistic expectations, and a lot of heart.

About Us Our Safe Space

is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2024. We create welcoming, judgment‑free spaces for personal growth, creativity, and connection—especially for women and LGBTQ+ community members.

In just 18 months, we’ve grown to

600+ engaged members

and host a full calendar of

free workshops, book clubs, and community events . Our weekly newsletter is how we stay connected and grounded as a community.

Why This Role Matters Our newsletter is the thread that ties everything together. It’s how members find upcoming events, reflect on shared ideas, and feel like they belong—even if they never turn their camera on.

With your help, the newsletter stays clear, inviting, and consistent—without becoming overwhelming or overproduced.

Time commitment generally

1–2 hours per week

What We’re Looking For

Solid experience with Mailchimp (or a similar email platform)

Good design instincts and respect for white space

Comfortable with light copy editing and formatting (no heavy rewriting)

Reliable, communicative, and deadline‑aware

Someone who enjoys making things better, not fancier

What’s In It For You

Be part of a warm, fast‑growing nonprofit doing real community work

Use your skills in a role that’s clearly defined and genuinely appreciated

Add meaningful nonprofit experience to your portfolio or résumé

Know your work helps hundreds of people feel connected, supported, and seen
