The global Information Technology (IT) Function is leading efforts to align IT and Business Strategy, leverage IT investments, and optimize end to end business processes and associated information integration technologies. Through these efforts, IT helps to improve the competitive position of Corning's businesses through IT enabled processes. IT also delivers Information Technology applications, infrastructure, and project services in a cost efficient manner to Corning worldwide.

Role Purpose Corning is seeking a Senior Director, D&IT Engagement & Digital Enablement to lead the strategic alignment, delivery, and evolution of digital and technology capabilities supporting Finance and key enterprise staff functions, including but not limited to Human Resources, Legal, Global Security, Aviation, and Health Management Services. This role operates within a hybrid model—ensuring strong operational performance, governance, and reliability today while progressively advancing more digital, data‑driven, and AI‑enabled ways of working. Reporting to the DVP & CIO for Corporate Technology and Staffs, the Senior Director is accountable for end‑to‑end D&IT partnership, spanning strategy, solution delivery, platform stewardship, operational excellence, and digital enablement. The role serves as a trusted advisor and strategic thought partner to senior business leaders, helping them pragmatically and responsibly leverage emerging technologies, including AI and automation, to improve business outcomes, productivity, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities As a brief outline, the Senior Director will:

Shape and execute the digital transformation strategy across Finance and enterprise staff functions.

Drive end‑to‑end delivery of platform solutions, ensuring alignment with business needs and regulatory requirements.

Lead and mentor cross‑functional teams to achieve operational excellence and digital enablement goals.

Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, translating emerging technologies into actionable, value‑driving initiatives.

Experiences/Education - Required

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred)

12+ years of progressive leadership experience in digital or IT organizations

Experience overseeing application/platform operations and architecture or solution design

Experience supporting Finance and enterprise staff functions

Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills

Experience in global or regulated environments

Familiarity with major enterprise platforms (e.g., SAP, SuccessFactors, OneStream)

Knowledge of SOX, audit, cybersecurity, privacy, and AI governance

Experience leading digital or AI‑enabled transformation initiatives

The range for this position is $194,764.00-$267,801.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job‑related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
