Accountable for developing supply chain standard work and metrics to ensure efficient operations. Responsible for creating system and process improvements by engaging direct reports and cross functional team members. Manage departmental budgets and be an advisor for market leadership.**Job Description**Oversee all aspects of supply chain operations within the service area. Serve as a conduit between market leadership and corporate supply chain leadership.Identify and vet process and technology needs to further advance the operational abilities in all markets. Deliver a strategic partnership plan involving internal leaders and external suppliers. Support the operational and financial goals of the supply chain operations leaders.Develop and deploy business models for managing inventory, enhancing distribution, and finding new opportunities to provide additional value. Establish and teach key performance indicators to ensure operational effectiveness and track progress of improvement initiatives.Should be knowledgeable in logistics, inventory, distribution, forecasting, and planning principles, including execution methodologies. Familiarity with the large healthcare organizations and the function of its various departments desired,Required to travel to off-site locations, and may be required to work evenings, weekends or cover unusual situations.**Qualifications**Bachelor’s degree in a related field and five years of experience in the area of responsibility required.
Experience or certification in lean/six sigma, with a proven history of process improvement and successful system and program implementations.
