JR5379**STV** is seeking a **Finance Director** to join our Operations Finance group. This position will be designated as **hybrid (3 days week/in office)** and can be located in one of the following STV offices: **Charlotte, NC, Dallas, TX, Franklin, TN, Los Angeles, CA or New York, NY.**The Finance Director is a key member of the Operational Leadership team that provides proactive strategic and financial insights to influence decision-making and offers recommendations to improve overall financial performance.

This role will own the financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and analysis of their assigned Operating Groups.**Key Responsibilities:*** Partner with the Group President and other leadership to provide oversight on all financial matters within the assigned Operating Groups.

Understand all components and key drivers of financial reports and concisely “tell the story” of the business through numbers* Own the development and management of yearly budgets and quarterly forecasts for assigned Operating Groups, providing strategic insights and recommendations to optimize financial performance* Oversee the month-end close process for assigned Operating Groups, ensuring that revenue recognition aligns with corporate policies. Responsible for timely and accurate financial reporting and closing.

Present Operating Group financials at monthly business reviews with Corporate Leadership* Collaborate with the Project Analyst Lead to understand material project issues and their effect on financials.

Actively participate in key project reviews to drive project finance initiatives forward and help address any challenges* Provide coaching and mentorship to financial analyst to support the broader objectives of the business. Oversee variance analysis, overhead expenditure analysis, and accurate and ongoing maintenance of forecast schedules* Work closely with key stakeholders to create and actively manage an actionable plan to improve DSO and cash collection for assigned Operating Groups* Oversee and update the monthly project revenue forecasts, working closely with Business Development to ensure CRM opportunities are up to date and accurate* Review and provide financial oversight into any pursuits within the Operating Group to ensure pricing is accurate and appropriate margins are achieved* Engage with Corporate Accounting to ensure policies and procedures are being adhered to.
