Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Environment Services Director to lead and oversee all environmental services operations, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and efficiency throughout our facility. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader, committed to fostering a positive work culture while maintaining regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the daily operations of housekeeping, laundry, maintenance, and other environmental services.

Develop, implement, and enforce policies and procedures to ensure a safe, sanitary, and comfortable environment for residents, staff, and visitors.

Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate environmental services staff.

Monitor compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including infection control and safety standards.

Oversee inventory management, budgeting, and procurement of cleaning and maintenance supplies.

Collaborate with other departments to support facility-wide initiatives and quality improvement efforts.

Address and resolve resident, staff, or visitor concerns related to environmental services promptly and professionally.

Qualifications

Proven experience in environmental services management, preferably in healthcare, skilled nursing, or long-term care settings.

Strong leadership and team-building skills.

Knowledge of regulatory requirements (CMS, OSHA, state health regulations).

Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed.
