We are looking for an energetic and persuasive

Telemarketing Executive (Insurance Sales)

to engage potential customers, explain insurance products, and drive sales through outbound calls. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong sales mindset, and the ability to build trust over the phone.

This role involves generating leads, explaining policy benefits, handling objections, and converting prospects into policyholders.

Key Responsibilities Lead Generation & Outbound Calling

Make outbound calls to prospective customers from provided databases or lead sources.

Introduce company insurance products and assess client needs.

Maintain consistent calling activity and follow lead management protocols.

Explain policy features, coverage options, premium details, and benefits clearly.

Handle customer objections professionally and persuasively.

Convert leads into policy purchases and achieve daily/weekly/monthly sales targets.

Customer Follow-Up

Follow up with interested customers for documentation, premium payment, and policy issuance.

Maintain call logs, follow-up schedules, and CRM updates.

Ensure timely completion of sales closures.

Customer Relationship Management

Build positive relationships with customers for repeat sales and cross-selling opportunities.

Update customers on new offers, promotions, or plan upgrades.

Provide basic post-sales support and transfer service-related queries to the appropriate team.

Documentation & Compliance

Ensure accuracy in customer details, application forms, and KYC documentation.

Follow all compliance rules as per IRDAI and company guidelines.

Maintain confidentiality of customer information.

Excellent communication and convincing skills

Strong telephone etiquette and interpersonal skills

Ability to explain complex insurance terms in simple language

Positive attitude, patience, and customer-first mindset

Sales-driven with the ability to meet targets

Basic computer skills (CRM, email, MS Office)

Strong follow-up and time management skills

Qualifications

Experience in telesales, BPO, insurance, or financial services is an advantage

Freshers with strong communication skills are welcome
