Position Overview Snow King Mountain is seeking an Events, Sales, and Marketing Coordinator to support the planning, coordination, and promotion of events, group experiences and activities, and mountain programming. This role works closely with the Events Operations & Sales Manager and assists with a wide range of operational, sales, event coordination, and marketing tasks to ensure successful events, support the growth of group activities, and strengthen engagement with visiting groups and the Jackson Hole community.
This is a dynamic, hands‑on role that supports event logistics, guest experience, outreach, and marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, interested in pursuing a long‑term career in hospitality, events, or marketing, and excited to be part of a fast‑paced mountain environment.
Key Responsibilities Event Coordination & Execution
Assist with planning, coordination, and execution of events across Snow King Mountain venues
Provide hands‑on support for event preparation and setup, including venue readiness, furniture placement, décor, and ensuring spaces are guest‑ready with strong attention to detail
Assist with event documentation including contracts, preparation of banquet event orders (BEOs), detailing events to ensure F&B and other departments have the information they need, invoicing, and post‑event follow‑up
Provide on‑site support during events and assist with troubleshooting operational needs
Work with planners and vendors to coordinate smooth and successful events
Maintain flexibility for longer hours on event days and schedules that vary depending on event timing
Help collect guest feedback and assist with post‑event reporting
Assist with internal communication around events including maintaining accurate calendars and communicating key details to relevant teams
Sales & Group Support
Assist with responding to event and group inquiries
Support coordination of smaller group bookings, mountain activities, itineraries, and guest logistics
Input group activity tickets into ticketing software and coordinate with other departments on ticketing needs
Assist with site visits and help document key client details and update internal materials accordingly
Support outreach and maintain relationships with local hotels, concierge teams, hospitality partners, and tourism contacts
Visit partner properties to share Snow King offerings, brochures, and event information
Help ensure Snow King remains top of mind for local hospitality partners
Marketing & Content Support
Capture photo and video content for social media and marketing initiatives
Assist with social media scheduling and posting
Help draft and format newsletters and marketing communications
Support the creation of brochures, promotional materials, and event marketing assets
Assist with marketing efforts promoting events, programming, and mountain experiences
Responsibilities may evolve over time based on business needs, and team members are expected to contribute flexibly to support successful operations across the mountain.
Qualifications
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment
Interest in hospitality, events, tourism, or marketing long term
Comfortable working both behind the scenes and during live events
Ability to respectfully direct and coordinate team members during event setup and execution
Flexible and willing to step in wherever needed to support the team
Proactive with strong attention to detail
Strong problem‑solving ability
Familiarity with social media platforms and marketing tools preferred
Work Environment This role includes both office work and on‑site event support, including evenings, weekends, and peak seasonal periods. Snow King operates in a hands‑on, fast‑paced environment where team members regularly step into different roles to support successful events and operations across the mountain.
