About the Role The Asset Protection (AP) Data Analyst will play a critical role in collecting, analyzing, and reporting POS, franchise, and retail data to support analytical auditing and asset protection initiatives for EssilorLuxottica. This role involves generating actionable insights to detect fraud, assess risk, and improve operational effectiveness across multiple retail banners (SGH, LC, TO, OO, PV, LHB, FE).
Key Responsibilities
Analyze inventory shrink data for North American retail banners.
Generate and evaluate exception reports of high-risk areas to detect potential fraud and support investigations.
Produce presentations, reports, and data models to communicate actionable Asset Protection recommendations.
Support the Asset Protection field team with store audits and investigations.
Maximize the effectiveness and efficiency of existing data sources.
Perform project-based work, including identifying, analyzing, and communicating insights and recommendations.
Provide data, maps, and analysis on stores, regions, and markets as requested.
Build strong relationships and collaborate with team members, managers, and business partners to meet project and business goals.
Produce and present executive briefs for implementation.
Conduct franchise audits to assess compliance with contractual obligations and financial reporting requirements.
Provide periodic updates to management and leadership regarding audit status and ongoing projects.
Conduct risk assessments for franchise operations and recommend corrective actions.
Analyze financial statements and operational data to identify irregularities or performance gaps.
Perform predictive and exception-based reporting research and analysis.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Statistics, or a related field.
Strong analytical, auditing, and data management skills.
Knowledge of exception-based and predictive analytics.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment.
