is a small and growing freight brokerage that was spun off our asset-based transportation company, Choice Transportation Inc. It was created to supplement and handle overflow freight that our assets can’t cover as well as add to the portfolio of customers needing assistance in the handling of their freight. Founded in 1984, Choice Transportation Inc. supports our parent company Clubs Choice Fundraising USA which is one of the fastest growing fundraising companies in the nation. We are expanding our capabilities and are looking for an energetic Freight Broker/Salesperson to further strengthen and expand our position in the transportation market and add value added services to our commercial warehousing customers.

Your professional profile:

A driven freight broker professional with a proven track record of sales success. (Desired)

Ability to handle several different duties simultaneously.

Can stay organized and work well under stress.

Ability to make intelligent decisions on the fly and under pressure.

Emotionally intelligent with a powerful work ethic.

Have tons of energy, humor, compassion, and enthusiasm and passion for what you do.

Strong sales skills over the phone as well as in-person calls.

Has the ability to close a sale.

Have a strong desire to work with a fast paced, cutting edge, family minded team.

Because we are a diverse company, your daily tasks will most likely include but will not be limited to:

Maintaining and growing a data base of customers.

Consistently contacting customers using email, telephone and in-person visits

Creating new leads and closing sales. Not afraid to ask for the business.

Conducting “Solution Calls” to ensure all questions by customers and partners are answered.

Staying on top of the customer process and ensure customer documentations and invoices are received on time.

Working with carriers to develop long term mutually beneficial relationships.

Booking shipments with carriers to achieve the best possible margin.

Scheduling pickups and deliveries.

Becoming an asset to your customers so that they turn to you for all their logistic solutions.

Job Type: Full-time.

Realistic earning potential: Commission based $30,000.00 - $100,000.00+ per year (Full Time).

Schedule:

Monday to Friday normal business hours. But available to take calls and respond to emails outside of normal working hours.

Experience:

Sales: 1 year (Preferred); Freight broker 1 year (Preferred) We will consider the right energetic candidate with less experience.

Work Location:

Onsite at our Eau Claire, WI corporate location is preferred with the opportunity to work remotely some of the time.

Would consider the right candidate to work exclusively remote as well.

This position will have flexibility because it would include face to face customer sales visits.
