REGION MANAGER – NORTH AMERICA, PULP & PAPER SERVICE Function PPS Region, North America

Purpose and Target

Lead and develop the regional organization and competencies to deliver profitable growth, operational excellence, and strong customer relationships in alignment with the global Pulp & Paper Service strategy as well as North American Pulp and Paper Strategy.

Continue and advance the cooperation within PPS, with PAD, with E&E, and with Capital.

Have full P&L responsibility and represent the Pulp & Paper Service Business Area Segmenty, its divisions, and product groups toward customers as #1 ANDRITZ.

In this role, he/she is the owner of regional customer relationships, ensures a strong understanding of customer strategies and investment plans, and supports customers in achieving long-term objectives and resolving operational challenges.

Organizational reporting Matrix: Pulp and Paper, NA Regional Manager

Authorization Authority to manage commercial and contractual aspects of sales projects in accordance with ANDRITZ policies and approved sales strategies. Authority to negotiate and agree commercial terms, scope, schedules, and milestones with customers within defined guidelines.

Responsibilities & Tasks

P&L responsibility for regional financial performance

Development and execution of the regional service strategy aligned with global PPS strategy

Leadership of regional operations to ensure quality, efficiency, and compliance

Development of regional resources, competencies, and employee engagement

Contribution to develop the customer relationship management, including the KAM network together with P&P Regional Management.

Representation of PPS toward customers and stakeholders as One ANDRITZ

Compliance with ANDRITZ policies, including Sales Contract Approval, Credit Risk, PPS (ABPM) business processes, and HSEQ requirements

Ownership and sharing of market, customer, and competitor intelligence

Driving synergies across PPS operations to improve efficiency

Contribution to strategic business planning, budgeting and MTP processes within a matrix organization

Continuous analysis of market share and identification of “white spots” and growth opportunities. Definition of actions leading towards growth.

Oversight of regional marketing activities and customer events

Active membership in the Pulp & Paper Service Management Team

Experience & Education

Extensive experience in Pulp and Paper mill processes, equipment, or related commercial roles.

Proven track record in senior business leadership within the pulp and paper industry.

Strong understanding of global matrix organizations and multicultural environments.

Experience in leading complex organizations, projects, and change initiatives.

Solid understanding of management systems and business processes. Strong industry network.

Technical or commercial university degree (MSc preferred) with over 10 years of relevant industry experience.

Leadership and customer orientation.

Strategic thinking with the ability to translate strategy into execution.

Influencing and change management capabilities.

Results-driven, proactive, and analytical mindset.

Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills.

Persistent and solution-oriented approach.

Fluency in written and spoken English; additional languages are an asset.
