Lewis Brisbois seeks a full-time Marketing & Business Development Coordinator to support its Business Development Team in pitches, proposals, presentations, rankings and awards submissions, and research projects for various practices, as well as provide occasional support for practice-specific conferences, events, and virtual programs.

Responsibilities: Assist with pitches, proposals, and RFP responses, including internal research as well as formatting, editing, proofreading, and printing materials. Conduct research on prospective clients, industries, markets, and competitive landscape; monitor and report on industry trends and issues impacting specific practices, clients, and prospects. Assist with litigation spotting and identifying business development opportunities with existing and prospective clients. Collaborate with business intelligence team to update and maintain various experience databases and practice group rosters. Assist with content creation for practice group descriptions, flyers, and other custom marketing materials. Assist with rankings and awards submissions, including internal research as well as drafting, editing, and proofreading materials; maintain editorial calendars and submission tracking. Provide occasional on the ground support for local business development events and conferences. Other business development and marketing activities as necessary. Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Business, English, or related field. 2-4 years of experience in a similar role in a law firm or professional services firm required. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interact professionally with attorneys. Strong organizational and project management skills, including the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously without sacrificing attention to detail. Creative researching skills, meticulous writing, proofreading and data entry skills, and capacity to interpret data. Technological proficiency, especially with Microsoft Office programs, including Copilot; InDesign skills a plus. Grace under pressure and ability to work with tight deadlines. Positive, proactive, and professional demeanor. Understanding of U.S. litigation terminology and framework. This is a hybrid in-office/remote working role requiring three in-office days per week.
