
Operations Specialist - Trade Management

The Operations Specialist – Trade Management is responsible for performing specialized operational securities processing activities in support of the firm’s business lines. This includes activities such as: instruction receipt, authentication and routing; entry instruction and verification; processing and recording; and reporting and reconciliation.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education: BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to clearly and professionally communicate instruction related issues to clients.
Analytical Skills: An aptitude for analytical and problem resolution.
Work Style: Self-starter, proactive, and objective-oriented. Ability to execute tasks with little direction and plan time effectively to meet deadlines.
Ability to multitask and deal.
Salary: $22 - $24 per hour Shift: First Work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM Education: Bachelors
Responsibilities
Trade Entry & Authentication:
Entry of all client trades sent to BBH which may be STP, automated but needing repair, or fully manual (rekey).
Authenticates, confirms, and distributes all Faxed trades received into the Bank.
Re-key: Faxed trade tickets are entered into GTPS.
Data Verification & Quality Control:
Perform various edit checks on all electronic trades.
Send trades with missing, incomplete, inconsistent, or poorly formatted data to repair for research and resolution.
Verify (dual controls) information prior to release to other areas of the firm as well as release to market.
Complex Processing & Problem Resolution:
Processing of complex and client specific instructions.
Resolve transaction related problems using established procedures or client documentation and available systems.
Escalate known or potential issues to management.
