Founding Partner and Portfolio Manager Nancy Kukacka, together with her Partner Jeff Christian and their team of investment professionals, bring over 50 years of combined equity research and investment experience. The fund employs a long-biased, long/short equity strategy focused on mid to mega cap growth companies primarily within the broad consumer and technology sectors.

The Role

We are seeking a seasonedHead of Sales & Marketingto lead our business development efforts. This individual will be the primary architect of our growth strategy, responsible for articulating our long/short equity narrative to sophisticated institutional and high-net-worth investors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Growth: Develop and execute a comprehensive go-to-market strategy to increase Assets Under Management (AUM) for our long/short equity fund.
  • Investor Relations: Own the end-to-end investor lifecycle, from initial outreach and pitching to ongoing reporting and retention.
  • Pipeline Management: Identify, build, and manage a healthy pipeline of prospective institutional clients and family offices.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with the Portfolio Manager and investment team to translate complex market insights into compelling marketing collateral and thought leadership.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 7+ years of experience in sales, marketing, or business development within the hedge fund or broader public equity investment management industry.
  • Strategy Expertise: Proven track record of marketing and selling long only, long/short equity, or similar liquid alternatives strategies.
  • Network: An established network of institutional investors (pensions, endowments, consultants) and family offices.
  • Communication: Exceptional ability to craft narratives around alpha generation, risk mitigation (e.g., equity option hedging strategies), and fundamental research.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or CFA designation is a strong plus.
  • Competitive Base Salary: Commensurate with experience and market rates.
