Director of Finance

We are working closely with a Private Equity backed Medical Manufacturer to bring on a Director of Finance. In this pivotal role you will lead the finance function of the U.S. subsidiary, strengthen financial discipline, and serve as a trusted partner to local management and global finance leadership. Additionally you will manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process and ensure timely, accurate reporting to local management and global headquarters as well as preparing annual budgets and rolling forecasts.
Ideal Profile
- 10+ years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, including leadership responsibility.
- Experience in medical devices, manufacturing, healthcare, or another regulated product‑based environment is strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, IFRS, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Experience managing audits, tax matters, and external advisors.
- Strong business‑partnering skills and the ability to translate financial information into practical management actions.
- Experience with inventory, costing, gross‑margin analysis, and working‑capital management.
- Comfort with ERP systems, reporting tools, and process improvement initiatives.
