Job Overview
We are seeking to fill various full-time roles for our Events and Real Estate Associations Management team including Events Director and Senior Account Executive roles . We collaborate with premier real estate firms, real estate associations, and other marquee clients to manage a wide range of events, both large and small. We are looking for candidates with a deep knowledge of the real estate industry or a strong interest in real estate, as well as a passion for working with real estate associations and elevating innovators in their fields.
The ideal candidate must possess strong management and organizational skills, innovative ideas, creative out-of-the box thinking and the ability to work quickly and effectively in a fast-paced environment. They should have experience organizing real estate-focused galas, fundraisers, networking events, virtual symposiums, educational seminars, and more. Additionally, the candidate must excel in working closely with real estate associations, while developing and curating strong client relationships.
This role is based in Manhattan, and we are only seeking candidates who are able to work in person at our office on a hybrid schedule.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop and execute event strategies for real estate-focused companies, including marquee real estate associations.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of real estate associations and events.
- Foster collaboration within The Berman Group’s internal teams, including the Public Relations and Design Studio departments.
- Lead and mentor a team of event professionals with varying levels of experience, evaluating performance and providing guidance.
- Drive innovation in event formats, programming, and experiential activations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and partners.
- Oversee hiring, training, and professional development for the events department.
- Collaborate with the firm’s Founder and Chief of Staff to develop a creative and collaborative working environment.
- Oversee all aspects of event execution, including concepting, planning, and production.
- Develop budgets and timelines, and manage contracts with vendors, venues, and service providers.
- Serve as one of the primary points of contact for real estate clients and association stakeholders.
- Translate client visions into memorable events while providing exceptional leadership to the team.
- Track and analyze event performance, including ROI, attendance, and client satisfaction, while overseeing post-event wrap-ups and evaluations.
- Work directly with the association management team to provide information, maintain records, organize initiatives, and oversee staff providing administrative support.
- Direct association meetings, including setting agendas and encouraging team participation.
- Oversee the team’s collaboration with graphic design and PR teams on regular communications, newsletters, invitations, e-blasts, advertisements, and promotional materials.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4-8 years of experience in event management.
- Candidates with real estate experience will be prioritized.
- Skilled in leading a team and fostering a positive corporate culture.
- Creative approach to event ideation, execution, and management.
