To be successful, you should have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with 10+ years of experience in AI, ML, advanced analytics, or data platforms, including at least 5 years in senior leadership or enterprise strategy roles; preferred experience in insurance, financial services, or regulated industries.
  • Solid expertise in AI/ML techniques (supervised/unsupervised learning, NLP, deep learning, generative AI) and cloud platforms (Azure, Snowflake, Databricks), with hands‑on experience in enterprise data platforms, DevOps, and modern software development frameworks.
  • Proven leadership and communication skills, with a solid track record of delivering enterprise AI solutions, leading digital transformation initiatives, and presenting complex technology strategies to executives and cross‑functional teams; certifications in cloud architecture, Agile, or management are a plus.
  • Willingness to travel as required, with the ability to collaborate globally and drive adoption of AI/ML solutions across distributed teams, while maintaining compliance with data governance, security, and ethical AI standards.

Your responsibilities as the Director of Software Engineering will include:

  • Lead the design, deployment, and scaling of advanced AI/ML solutions, including generative AI, NLP, and deep learning.
  • Oversee enterprise‑wide AI initiatives, ensuring governance, compliance, and measurable business impact.
  • Partner with cross‑functional leaders to translate complex technology into actionable strategies.
  • Write and review production‑level code alongside your engineering teams, setting high technical standards.
  • Drive a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement across the software organization.
